Photo Editing

1st photo: Snoopy Thanksgiving
I altered the brightness and the contrast. I also changed the color so that the picture stood out more.

2nd photo: Baby tiger
For this photo I changed the linear contrast, the vibration and saturation. I also changed the hue and lightness of the photo.

3rd photo: coffee
I edited the brightness and contrast, hue and color. I also added a warming filter to enhance the photo's color.

4th photo: balloons
I played with hues of the picture and changed the color balance in order for the pink balloons to stand out against the blue sky.

HTML QUIZ

I got a 12 out of 25, which is a 48% on the test. I know most of the tags, but that's about it. I need to learn other things about HTML other than tags.

Intro to HTML

To use the W3 Schools Tutorial I used tools such as the tags that were given to us in class. I also used background knowledge. I want to be able to learn more tags and learn to use them accurately.

Design

From looking at the other student's designs, I saw that most every design had a line of symmetry. Some students created actual objects or living things such as a sword or a panda, while others drew geometric shapes. There was a mixture of students using virtual bead loom, pacific northwest basket weaver and navajo rug weaver. Although many of the designs look similar, they are very different, but they hall have one thing in common; symmetry.

BeadLoom

Cornrow Curves

Navajo Rug Weaver
As I continued one from design 1, creating the designs became easier and faster. I started off by just using single points but then was forced to use the rectangle and line points as the designs got harder.

Pacific Northwest Basket Weaver
For the most part I used the "line" and "rectangle" method. At the very end I used the "point" method to fill in some of the spots. I wasn't challenged that much, it was just very time consuming.

Blog Post One

Hi my name is Abbey McFarland. I am 16 years old and I'm a sophomore. I am involved in soccer, basketball and lacrosse. I also play the guitar and the ukulele. I am one of five kids in my family and I am the only girl. I also have a golden retriever dog named Kodi and a cat named Kitty. I joined this class because I thought that it might be really useful for the future. Although I'm adequately knowledgeable about computers, I really think this class will benefit me.
